Technical writing involves taking complex information and turning it into digestible copy. This means that all of my documentation, medical communications, internal communications and training materials:

  • Make sense
  • Have a logical organization and flow
  • Are free of superfluous information
  • Accurately convey instructions or processes

Technical writing is a skill that I feel is also helpful in marketing initiatives and other types of communications, because concise is usually better these days.

Medical Writing

I am a member of the American Medical Writers Association and focus most of my work on patient- and consumer-facing communications. These include blogs, articles, website copy, brochures and press releases. I have also ghostwritten for physicians on occasion, and have created B2B communications (for PSOs, healthcare executives, care teams and other physicians) as well.
